FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Kansas City, Missouri – December 10, 2025
Merrimack College has partnered with the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance to prepare graduate students to earn the Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP) credential, the only nationally recognized credential in nonprofit management and leadership. This opportunity is offered through Merrimack’s Master of Nonprofit Management and Community Engagement program.
“Partnering with the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance aligns perfectly with Merrimack’s mission to prepare students to be ethical, compassionate leaders in service of the common good,” said Audrey Falk, Ph.D., Director of the Master of Nonprofit Management and Community Engagement program. “We believe that earning the CNP credential provides our students with a powerful advantage as they enter or advance in the nonprofit sector. Not only does it enhance their professional readiness, but it also strengthens their ability to make a meaningful impact in the communities they serve.”
Students enrolled in Merrimack’s Master of Nonprofit Management and Community Engagement program will complete coursework, applied learning experiences, and leadership development opportunities that prepare them to earn the CNP credential alongside their degree.
